The unit of this system is an identity, not a token and not a balance. One wallet holds one Genesis Fly or none: the mint record is permanent, the token is locked and non-transferable. There is therefore no secondary market, and nothing priced off one — no royalty, no floor, no resale. Nothing is on sale today.
Every LIVE claim in this paper is a function of the deployed contract, the public rules, or the server ledger — checkable by anyone. Every ROADMAP claim is a design that has not shipped and carries no date.
1 · The price of an identity: one rung, and it is free · LIVE
There is no price ladder because there is nothing to sell. Every Genesis Fly is minted through the same single rung:
| Rung | What earns it | Bill |
|---|---|---|
| FREE — the only rung | survive the islands: the server replays your run from the same bytes and every hash must match, plus one verified X proof post | 0 + gas (~$0.02 on Robinhood Chain) |
This is a deliberate inversion of the paid-mint pattern. In a band-priced mint the price climbs with the serial — early buyers pay less for arriving early. Here there is no price at all, and what separates holders is not money spent but what the wallet did: it survived, provably, twice — once in the browser and once on the server. The discount is not a reward for arriving early. It is the price of having a record, and the record is the only currency the campaign accepts.
- One per wallet, ever.
hasMintedis permanent; there is no path to a second token, paid or otherwise. - The voucher is signed, not priced. The server returns an EIP-712 signed voucher only after the replay matches; the signing key never leaves the server; the contract is the only supply authority.
- 4,444 hard-capped on-chain. Supply is counted in identities: 4,444 caps tokens and participating wallets.
2 · Never bought. Witnessed three times. · LIVE
Before a Genesis Fly is adopted, its life is witnessed three times:
| 1 · Your browser | replays the life while you watch |
| 2 · The server | re-lives it byte for byte and rejects anything that does not match |
| 3 · The chain | records what both witnesses saw |
Soul-bound (ERC-5192), non-transferable, forever. It cannot be dumped, flipped, or bought — which is exactly what makes the holder list meaningful: every address on it earned its seat the same way, by surviving. The contract address is only ever cited as pinned by @musefly_ai; any other address claiming to be MuseFly is a fake. There is no MuseFly token today.
3 · The loop — what holding one actually mines · LIVE, PAYOUT ROADMAP
Holding alone mines nothing. A Genesis Fly is a seat, not a yield: soul-bound, one per wallet, and idle until its wallet shows up and plays. What survival produces is not a token — it is a record, and the record is the thing a prize pool would later be split by. Put the two loops side by side:
GENERIC MINE-TO-EARN buy the machine → it produces while you sleep → claim → price up → more buyers ↺ MUSEFLY hold the Genesis Fly → play the islands → the server records a verified run → the record grows → (ROADMAP) the record is weighted and paid ↺
Same outer shape — spend, work, be recorded, be paid, come back — with a different fuel. The generic loop cycles a token; this one cycles proof: every verified run writes a replayable, hash-checked result into a ledger the server can recompute from scratch. Whatever the incentive layer turns out to be, the thing it would pay was written down before it existed.
| Gear | The generic miner | MuseFly | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sink · consume | buy hardware, burn it in the mine | the only rung is earned: survive the islands, server-verified | LIVE |
| Retention · come back | the machine pays daily, so you return to claim | a Genesis Fly auto-enters Season 1 and the seasons after; the seat requires showing up | LIVE / ROADMAP |
| Scarcity · compete | output floats with total hashrate — zero-sum | 4,444 seats, one per wallet, non-transferable; the scarce unit is a verified survival | LIVE |
| Composable · ecosystem | third-party rigs, pools, dashboards | the rulebook is a plain-text file and the replay is an API; any agent, framework or third party enters the same way | LIVE |
Where the two loops differ, and why that is the point. A miner keeps producing while its owner sleeps. A Genesis Fly does not. Its holder has to enter, and the entering is the mining. That is a deliberate trade: what accumulates is a record of work, not of ownership — so it can be weighted by what a wallet did, which a balance structurally cannot express.
4 · How a pool would be split · ROADMAP
If a prize pool exists (paper 9), this is the key it would be cut with, and every input is already on chain or in the ledger:
- A block is a verified win — a tournament entry whose replay matches, nothing else qualifies. A score is public and reproducible; a block is not copyable, which is why the key is wins and not scores.
- A wallet's season weight is the blocks it found —
yourWins ÷ totalWinsacross the season, two counts over a table the server already writes. - The difficulty is the queue. The pool and the block count are both fixed, so a block is worth the pool divided by how many wallets are competing for the same islands.
- No wallet can corner a season. One Genesis Fly per wallet caps any single participant's share at the season length they actually played.
Illustrative only. No pool exists, no percentage is set anywhere, and the deployed contract has no field for one. Prizes are planned in USDC — real money, not a token launch.
5 · Two value axes — serial and record · LIVE
- Serial — fixed at mint.
tokenId1…4444, in mint order. Nothing on chain reads it and earlier is not better. It is provenance, not rarity: the metadata's rarity attribute is a function of the id alone (genesis ≤ 1000,rare ≤ 3000,epic ≤ 4000, elselegendary), so a tier says when a fly was issued and nothing else. - Record — earnable forever. The verified-run ledger grows with what the wallet does, not what it holds. A genesis-tier holder who never plays and a late-tier holder who plays every season are distinguished by the record, and nothing else distinguishes them.
Read together, the axes answer one question: what does a Genesis Fly record? Neither axis is priced, and no number in this paper is derived from either.
6 · The boundary
- Shipped and checkable. The free rung, the exact-payment rule (zero), one-per-wallet, the 4,444 cap, non-transferability, and the server replay are functions of the deployed contract and the public rules; the ledger that holds the record is queryable.
- Roadmap. The tournaments, the USDC pools, the weighted layer. No date, nothing on sale, and the deployed contract is never upgraded or written by any of them.
- Not promised. Any token, yield, staking return, price floor, buyback, airdrop or resale value. The Genesis Fly is not an investment and this paper is not an offer.
